Old or rarely used appliances are usually just junked, but for some more creative, and possibly frugal individuals, these could still be re-purposed.
Website Real Simple cited some ways to transform rarely used appliances into more useful household machines. “Make Cola slushies. Set up the machine according to the manufacturer’s directions. Pour in one 12-ounce can of cola and start the machine. When a thick slush has formed (after 10 to 15 minutes), scoop it into two glasses and serve.”

Breathe New Life to Old Appliances
As for old appliances, Munchemblog has enumerated ways on how to repurpose them. “You’re not using that toaster anymore; why not make it in to a decorative light? Drill some holes in to it in a decorative pattern and wire it up. You could also put colored film on the inside of the holes so that the light that comes out is different colors.”
